THRIVE Ottawa is a community resource available for Grade 7 through 11 classrooms regarding sex and relationships. The two and three-class format is fun, informative, interactive, and free of charge! Touching on compound issues to sexuality such as self-worth and media influences, THRIVE takes an honest look at the realities of teen sexuality and the important considerations tied to the decision-making process.

THRIVE endeavours to supplement the Ontario Ministry of Education 2015 revised Health and Physical Education Curriculum requirements for Grades 9-11, as well as the Ontario Ministry of Education 2019 Health and Physical Education Curriculum requirements for Grades 7-8.

THRIVE Community Education Program strongly believes in the value of each student and their capacity for making healthy decisions. Relationships, love, and sex are confusing. We’re here to help.
